Come along to life drawing session at Kimberley Arts Network. KAN's regular Life Drawing sessions are open to everyone. Whether you're a practicing artist, or someone who just wants to improve your observational and sketching skills... KAN offers a welcoming and creative space for everyone. Broome Rodeo Club brings all the excitement, action, thrills and spills of a country Kimberley rodeo to the town of Broome. Held annually we love providing a awesome day out for the whole family including food vans, live music and a fully licensed bar! Broome Rodeo & Campdraft is back for another jam packed 3 day event on 13th, 14th & 15th August 2025. Campdrafting and challenges for our avid horse lovers, full rodeo program for our thrill seekers and plenty of activities to keep the kids (even the bigger ones) on their toes. Buckle up and pull your hat down, there’s something for everybody! Please Note: The Broome Rodeo Grounds is now licenced for 3,000 people in the bar area. Get involved with Science Week at the Broome Bird Observatory! Join us for some fun family friendly Science Week(end) activities. We kick things off on Friday night, 15th August, with a short session on how to get involved in citizen science and a easy to follow shorebird ID talk. Then following the science week theme of ‘decoding the universe’ we will run a star gazing session at 7pm. Using a telescope you will be guided through the stars via stories, suitable for all ages.
